Ok I know, I know, I've been completely MIA on the blogging front but there is a reason!
I've been spending time reviewing all of my communication methods with you guys. That ranges from social media to this very here blog space on my own site. You've all been super helpful at telling me what you want and how you want it and your wish is my command.
You still want me to blog and like the tone and content (lots of chat, info and visual inspiration) but you also want the micro content from it on social media, with the option to click through to the full article if you fancy it/have time.
So, first up for your absolute viewing pleasure is our recent shoot at St Lukes, Glasgow captured by wonderful Rhiannon Neale Photography and Films.
Working with the creme de la creme of the Scottish wedding industry, we shot this alternative Bridal shoot with the focus on individuality!
Your day, your way, I can't stress that enough.
The tea length, blue and white wedding dress by Dragonfly & Butterbee Vintage was just perfect, along with the most colourful bridal bouquet I've made in a while!
Don't be afraid to let your own style shine through on your wedding day. If you like colour then have colour and check out how amazing it can look! This hand tied bridal bouquet (created by The Floral Design Boutique of course!) has focal flowers of yellow Roses, pink scented Hyacinths with striking blue Anenomes and i'm sure you'll agree it looks awesome! Trailing ribbons too because... who doesn't love em?
What a pleasure it was to also dress the gates of St Lukes. These are just asking for some floral decor, there really are no limits to what you can do here!
I dressed them with foliage and flower garlands at the top left and bottom right with trailing ribbons to compliment the array of colour from the Bride & Groom.
How gorgeous are our models? Real couple (and actual models no less!) Katie & Robert were just perfect for our vision for this shoot. Katie's tattoos look fabulous and we loved Roberts unique look too, complimented with this rather dapper suit from Ten 30.
Katie's hair and make up is by the wonderfully talented Jenna Clayton MUA.
Erm... Cake goals right here by Louise Barrie Cakes!
Super funky stationery produced by the fab Bottled Love
Shooting moved from St Lukes to the surrounding areas of the famous East End of Glasgow, you've heard of The Barrowlands/Barras Market haven't you? Well, who knew it's the perfect place to get some funky, urban shoots of you and your beloved.
Our photographer, the fabulous Rhiannon Neale Photography and Films, has an insane eye for detail and snapped her way around this uber cool market area to produce these images. Blown away by how great it all looks!
Moral of the story guys, let your own style shine through on your big day no matter how funky it is, colour is awesome, so are short dresses and The Barras is the place to be!
Any questions about this shoot, feedback or if you want us to be involved in your big day... you know where I am...
