Scottish Summer Weddings 2018
We all remember the scorcher of a Summer Scotland had last year right? 2018 was as we say here, a belter!
We racked up thousands of miles last Summer creating wedding flowers from the Isle of Mull to Dublin and lots of gorgeous Scottish wedding venues in between.
Here are a few pics of what we got up to..
Ah, Stacey and her gals at Ardtornish Estate... what a wedding!
Stacey and Jarrad booked us for their Scottish destination wedding to be on site for 3 glorious floral, fun filled days and what a blast we had!
There were coral Peonies galore along with Eucalyptus for this pair, who are originally from New Zealand. Flowers were everywhere including our gorgeous silver birch archway as a backdrop to their ceremony which they held outside in the gardens.
We also had the absolute pleasure of bringing Patricia and Tony's floral ideas to life at Altskeith House on what was most certainly one of the hottest days of the year!
I loved designing and creating this floral archway to frame the doorway of the venue covered with lots of scented foliage and pops of flowers.
We then headed south west to the glorious Ayrshire coast for Rachael and Liam's big day at Seamill Hydro, again, the weather, wow!
Seamill Hydro is already a beautiful wedding venue in a pretty magnificent seaside location but the sunshine combined with the colours Rachael and Liam chose for there big day just brought this place to life!
Now, we LOVE a barn wedding so you could imagine our excitement at heading to a new barn venue last year, HELLO The Barn at Harburn!
Rachel and Rory had their big day here full of the prettiest of pastel flowers including Hydrangea and garden style Roses with touches of Gypsohila throughout.
We can't not mention that Dublin wedding now can we?!
Andrea and Curtis were eloping from Canada to Dublin to say "I Do" and asked us to head over and design the flowers for the big day, which was an absolute delight!
We are more than happy to provide wedding flowers anywhere at all and have travelled all over Scotland to do so but this was our first wedding that involved a flight and it was FUN!
We travelled along with our super talented friend and pro wedding photographer, Rhiannon Neale Photography. This was the loveliest, most intimate wedding I've ever had the pleasure of being involved in. Just Andrea and Curtis and a few of their closest family and friends.
Flowers were cerise coloured garden style Roses nestled amongst lots of foliage - FAB.U.LOUS!
So that's a snippet of what we got up to in the Summer of 2018!
