Ayrshire Wedding Flowers

Happy New Year!

2019 is well and truly upon us and I hope whichever way you wanted to start your new year whether it was full of beans and raring to go or a little slower paced, it's being kind to you so far.

Here at The Floral Design Boutique it's been a bit of both. I had a nice break at the start of January after a crazy busy but wonderful December and now i'm back at my desk and in the workshop. My routine is returning and the ideas are flowing big time., I'm having a ball working through my inbox which is bursting with so many ideas from you guys - thank you!

Something I'm noticing so far is just how many Ayrshire weddings we're looking after this year, I can't wait to get started! It got me thinking of the wedding venues we've been to in Ayrshire over the past few years and the one's we'd really love to flower up going forward.

I can't not start with Seamill Hydro. We've been here several times now and are returning lots this year and boy did it capture my heart last summer! Just look at that backdrop behind Rachel and Liam above, you could be forgiven for thinking this was some exotic location and not sunny Scotland..

Another particularly beautiful venue to have your big day in in Ayrshire is Brig o' Doon House ( I know right?!) What's not to love about this place. It's steeped in history and romance with the poetry of Rabbie Burns ever present as well as being utterly stunning inside and out. We've had the pleasure of designing the flowers for several weddings here and look forward to many more!

A bit of a hidden gem in the Ayrshire wedding world is Boswells Coach House. Tucked away amongst the trees, their garden marquee setting is a perfect candidate for your big day.

We designed the flowers for Lauren and Andrew's wedding here and I've got to say, i'm loving their idea for keeping the flowers fresh in the middle of a hot summers day... in with the beers of course!

Culzean Castle, now that's a wee bit special am I right?!

I haven't yet had the pleasure of designing for a wedding at Culzean but I did create this awesome (if I do say so myself lol) crescent shaped installation in the Camellia House at the Castle as part of a shoot for Ayrshire Wedding Directory. I utterly adored this space and so if you're getting wed here and need awesome flowers... lets talk.

There really are tons of absolutely beautiful Ayrshire wedding venues and I do feel very lucky to have looked after the wedding flowers for many clients in many of these stunning places, too many to list here.

There are also many more on my list of "Would Love to Do's" like Dalduff Farm, Turnberry Kelburn Castle oh and Auchrannnie because you know i'm partial to a wee boat trip!

So, if you, or anyone you know is getting married in Ayrshire (or anywhere!) and would like to chat flowers, please do get in touch...
