Glasgow is Always a Good Idea - Wedding at 29, Glasgow
Move over Paris, Glasgow is where it's at.
I've always adored Glasgow, it has everything, and a wee bit more. Culture, great food, great people, fab places to chat the night away and most importantly, allll the banter!
Something else it has are some awesome wedding venues, including 29 where the lovely Laura and Alan chose to have their big day.
When Laura asked me to dress the fireplace in 29's Supper Club the answer was YES! We covered the top in an arrangement bursting with blooms in white and peach tones including Tulips and Roses with scented Eucalyptus throughout.
This venue is right in the heart of it all. On Royal Exchange Square (yup, the one with the guy with the cone on his head) with Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) right on it's doorstep, it offers some really unique photo opportunities which Emma from Fairytale Asylum has captured brilliantly. As you can see, Glasgow is adorable in all weathers, and so is our gorgeous Bride...
I met Laura at the Scottish Wedding Directory 'Girls Night In' event back in March '16 and instantly loved the ideas for their wedding. Laura wanted a small bridal bouquet of flowers as she was also to carry a bible down the aisle with her, that, combined with the glass skull vases on the tables gave their day such a unique vibe!
The image of the vases are just a snap of mine and not the work of the professional!
Last but not least we certainly couldn't forget another landmark just around the corner, Glasgow's famous Central Station!
Huge congratulations to Laura and Alan, the new Mr & Mrs Baillie! Thank you for having me involved in your big day and thank you to both Laura and Emma for sharing these amazing photos with me.
Much love, Amanda xx
